Everyone:
I was listening to this NPR program stream that was not only interesting because of its relevance to the current election season, but also to our class. Reacting is, largely, an exercise in rhetoric, especially this game. Since we are studying some of the earliest rhetoric around pretty intensely, I thought that this program stream's perspective on the "ahistorical" aspect of rhetoric combined with our current studies offers a kind of holistic approach to the power of public speaking. So, if you want some background noise while you plug away at Cicero or a good podcast, then this is a good soundbyte.
XOXO,
Brutus:)
